Frosted Cashew Cookies
½ Cup Margarine
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
½ Teaspoon Vanilla
¾ Teaspoon Baking Soda
¾ Teaspoon Baking Powder
¼ Teaspoon Salt
½ Teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/3 Cup Sour Cream
1 ½ Cup Flour
1 Cup Salted Cashew Nuts Broken
Cream butter and suger, add egg and vanilla, beat well. Sift together dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 400 for 8-10 minutes till lightly browned. Frost with
Golden Butter Icing:
Heat and stir 3 Tablespoons butter until browned. Slowly beat in 2 Cups sifted powdered sugar, 2 Tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. You can also add nuts.
