Biscochos

1 Lb. Lard
1 Egg
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
¼ Cup Orange Juice
8 Cups Flour
½ Teaspoon Powdered Anise Seed
½ Teaspoon Baking Powder

Cream Lard and add rest of ingredients and mix very well. You can use a cookie press or roll out and use cookie cutters. Bake 375 for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Set to cool for 5 minutes and roll in 1 cup sugar and ½ tablespoons cinnamon mixture.

This is a typical Mexican Christmas cookie, recipe given to me by my friend Nellie Estrada.
