Ginger Snaps

¾ Cup Shortening
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
¼ Cup Molasses
2 Cups sifted flour
1 Tablespoon Ginger
2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
½ Teaspoon Salt

Cream shortening and sugar, beat in eggs and molasses. Add dry ingredients. Roll into balls, then roll in sugar. Bake 350 for 12-15 minutes.
