1 Cup Lard (margarine)
½ Teaspoon Salt
2 Eggs
5 Teaspoons baking powder
1 Cup Sugar
3 Teaspoons Vanilla
2/3 Cup Milk
3 ½ - 4 Cups Flour
Cream together lard, sugar, and salt. Add Eggs, and vanilla. Beat well. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately. Bake 425 till brown.
